Music has been a principle passion of mine.
I have listened to, discussed, read, and purchased vast quantities of music since my teenage years.
I wrote for various music magazines for a while, which taught me the rudiments of music journalism. There are some examples here; to note is the interview I did with the American guitarist John Fahey. What a day that was – I need to write it up.
My first biography was of the English folk singer Ralph McTell – published as Parallel Lives by Pomera Press.
I have also played guitar and have been involved with Guitar Craft and Guitar Circle work since 1997. Some files about our work also included here….
…and, some extended essays, including the early days of the rock band King Crimson.
